Delivery
Normal delivery is 6-8 weeks from receipt of deposit. This can
extend up to 12 weeks at the busiest time of the year which is the
months leading up to Christmas.
Defective goods
All products sold to you by The Shutter And Blind Company are guaranteed
for 36 months from the date of delivery/installation.
If goods supplied by us become faulty within that 36 months period
please contact us by phone on 01256 3208 520 or email us and we
will arrange for your shutters to be repaired or replaced which
ever is appropriate at no cost to yourself assuming it it either
a manufacturing, product or installation error.
Shortages or damages on delivery
The Shutter And Blind Company must be notified within 24 hours
from delivery of all shortages or damages.
Shutters made incorrectly
The Shutter And Blind Company must be notified if any shutters
have been made contrary from your specifications e.g., wrong colour
or size within 72 hours of receipt of shutters. Replacement shutters
will then be dispatched as soon as possible at no cost to yourself.
Product descriptions and measurements.
The photographs and descriptions within the site of all of our
products are for illustrative purposes only. No responsibility will
be accepted by The Shutter And Blind Company if the supplied
dimensions for self fitting are incorrect.
Contract
A binding contract will be entered into upon receipt of a deposit.
All products remain the property of The Shutter And Blind Company
until paid for in full.
Payment and Outstanding Balance
50% of the quotation is required as a deposit to commence the order.
The balance of 50% id due on the day of installation, no exception.
If The Shutter And Blind Company have to go via the small claim
court to recover any outstanding balances then the customer will
be liable for any cost incurred by The Shutter And Blind Company
plus interest on the outstanding balance (charged at the Bank of
England Base rate plus 3%).
Cancel contract by you
You may not change or cancel your order after receipt of deposit.
All shutters sold by The Shutter And Blind Company are custom made
to your requirements and so are not resalable by ourselves, therefore
your deposit is non-refundable.
Cancel contract by us
We reserve the right to cancel your order if an error has been
made in pricing the shutters or there is a stock shortage.
If we have to cancel any order after confirmation we will inform
you by email as soon as possible and refund any monies paid to us.
We are not obliged to offer any compensation for any inconvenience
caused.
